Rendezvous

I am not a morning person. I hit the snooze button on my alarm at least twice before getting out of bed. However, when I do get up, I love having a Rendezvous with God! I look forward to reading the Bible and listening carefully to what my Spirit points out to me. The Rendezvous are not just reading a book, but learning and talking (praying) to God.

So, I challenge you to set 15 minutes aside (to start out) to read the Word of God. Meditate on it and listen to what the Holy Spirit point out to you! How do you know what is being pointed out? Pay attention to your emotions. If you are just starting out, I recommend reading the Amplified Version of the Bible. It is a little more simple to read and understand. Personally, I recommend starting with the Book of Romans. Whatever or whenever you choose enjoy your Rendezvous encounter with God!
